Second JH Camp Offered!
Greetings Jr. High Parents,
This letter comes to announce some exciting news concerning Junior High Summer Camp! As you may know, we have been pushing the numerical limits of our camp at Alliance Redwoods for the last few years. Last Summer we even had to turn students away because our camp was full. Since that time we have been trying to find a way to allow more students to become involved in our camping ministry and see God change their lives through Camp.
We just received word that we are going to be able to offer a second summer camp for Junior High students this summer in addition to our camp at Alliance Redwoods. Hume Lake has granted us a few cabins at Meadow Ranch, their Summer Camp for Junior High Students, during the week of July 20-26. Our High School Ministry has been attending Ponderosa Camp at Hume Lake for years, and we are excited to host some of our Junior Highers at Meadow Ranch the same week that our High Schoolers are staying at Ponderosa. Hume Lake will contain the same elements as our camp at Alliance Redwoods (recreation, worship, teaching, free time, etc.), but will be Sunday - Saturday, and thus will be a bit more expensive ($410 instead of $300).
Spots for the Hume Lake camp are limited, so we will offer them on a first come, first-served basis. If you wish to sign up, please go online to 3crosses.org/summercamp, or sign up through our Youth Office with Dani Cromwell at (510) 537-4690 X234.
