Financial Aid

At Neighborhood Church, we believe that every student that wants to go to camp should be able to go to camp regardless of financial situation.  Recognizing that Summer Camp can be a tremendous financial burden, we want to offer you and your family every opportunity to raise money for camp.  Once you have signed up and paid your deposit, use any combination of the following three options to help pay the remaining balance.  If you cannot afford the deposit or you have any other questions or concerns, feel free to contact Dani Cromwell at 537-4690 X234.

1) Sell Lollipops
Students can check out bags of lollipops, sell them, and the proceeds will be applied directly to their balance. You can pick up a bag of lollipops any time our Youth Office is open (Monday-Thursday 9-5, Friday 9-12) or before or after Youth Group.

2) Sign up for a Fundraiser

We have many fundraising opportunities for you between now and camp. Sign up online or through our Youth Office. These events include:
  • Rent-a-Kid: Members of the church will hire students to do odd jobs such as pulling weeds, moving furniture, cleaning house, etc.

If you would like to sign up to rent a kid, or if you're a kid who'd like to be rented, contact us!
  • We will list other fund raising events online so be sure and check-in regularly for updates.
3) DVR Scholarship Fund
Each year, many of our students take advantage of DVR Scholarships to help them afford Summer Camp. If you would like financial assistance, you can download a scholarship form from 3crosses.org/summercamp or pick one up at our Youth Office. All recipients of DVR Scholarship funds will be required to perform 6 hours of community service, which can either be completed at our Community Service Day (July 6) or independently. All scholarship forms must be turned in for approval by Sunday, July 6.
