* Lonely
* Hospitalized
* Terminally ill (and their family members)
* Moving into or out of our community
* Grieving a death or serious loss
* Homebound and institutionalized
* Prisoners, ex-offenders and their families
* facing job crisis
* Aging and elderly
* Disabled (and their family members)
* Needing the support of a Christian friend
* Facing life transitions
* Separated or divorced
* Experiencing birth or adoption
* In spiritual crisis
"Bear on another's burdens and so fulfill the law of Christ." Galatians 6:2
Our Stephen Ministers work together with our pastors and Stephen Leaders to reach out to people with weekly one-on-one care . People who receive care from a Stephen Minister:
* Receive quality Christian care and support by trained care givers.
* Meet weekly with a Stephen Minister of the same gender for about an hour.
* Know that confidentiality is highly regarded in the Stephen Ministry.
* Deepen their relationship with their Lord.
If you or someone you know is interested in being matched up with a Stephen Minister for one-on-one care please contact Pastor Chad Olson or call (510) 537-4690 x-231.
We will begin offering one-on-one care the first week of March 2008.
If you are interested in becoming a Stephen minister and participating in our next training class please please contact Pastor Chad Olson at chad@3crosses.org or (510) 537-4690 x-231. The next training is scheduled for Fall 2008.
"Put on then, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassion." Colossians 3:12
