Children's Ministry Intern
Tell us about yourself:
I was born in CV, but have lived in San Leandro all my life. I have two wonderful parents and two amazing sisters, one of which is married and has two kids.
I am 21 years old I recently graduated from California State University, East Bay/Hayward with a major in Liberal Studies and a minor in Human Development. I hope to become a teacher in a public school when I completely finish my schooling.
I accepted Christ as a young girl, growing up in a Christian home, but I continue to develop a better understanding of Christ as I grow older. We'll see where God leads me from here! =)
What do you do as Children's Ministry Intern?
I intern for Erin Vassey. I mostly focus on Sunday School classes from Nursery to 5's. We strive to constantly move forward as a ministry that molds and shapes young children in the Lord.
What is the best part of your job?
The kids! Aside from them saying the most outrageous things, the children in this church are so amazing because THEY are the ones that are oftentimes teaching ME. Their unwavering faith and innocence reminds me of how my life should be in Christ.
