I Promise to Never Let You Go

We come today to our last installment in an eight-part study we’ve entitled, “I PROMISE YOU…God’s special assurances for every believer.”  I hope that one thing you’ve taken away from this series is the importance of believing God’s promises—as important even much as obeying His commands!  As I’ve said all along in this series, I don’t think you can really obey God’s commands without believing His promises FIRST.  This hasn’t’ been a series about “doing” something.  Rather, it has been about “believing” the promises of God.  And we’ve only scratched the surface—God’s Word is full of promises—and it will do us much good to simply believe what God has promised us.

Today we come to one of the most important promises we find anywhere in Scripture—but it is also a promise that is sometimes debated among Christ-followers. Whether we believe this promise or not determines so much of how we live for Jesus Christ.  It is so practical—you’ll see.

The promise we want to look at today is God’s promise to never let us go.
