Missionaries: Annie Carbonaro

Annie Carbonaro
With my initial trip to work in an orphanage in Ukraine, I never anticipated that moving there would be a part of God's call on my life. But through five trips and six months spent in this country, God has solidified this desire in my heart. It is my deepest passion and what I believe I was born to do in this time in my life. Serving in Ukraine is an honor unlike any other I have known and it is there that I believe I am doing the work God has called me to.

We are working through Shepherd's Staff in our efforts alongside the local church to accomplish our ministry goals with over 200 children from the Pravda orphanage. What lies ahead is essentially unknown, but I look forward to sharing with you all God will do. I have come to see the critical need for the body of Christ to work as a whole and I know that I am just one part seeking to do His will. I am honored to be supported in that by the body at Neighborhood Church.

What I Do:
I will be continuing the Ukraine orphanage ministry and graduate ministry. My team will focus on camp programs, weekly activities at the orphanage, and continual support for the children kicked out of the orphanage following the ninth grade.

How You Can Help:
I am always grateful for prayer & financial partners. Checks may be sent to Neighborhood Church, 20600 John Drive, Castro Valley, CA 94546. Write "Annie Carbonaro" in the memo line.

Prayer:
Pray that these children will open their hearts to the love of their heavenly Father. With that, I hope that they will not only accept Him in their lives, but find purpose, self-worth, and the ability to go beyond the statistics that face them.
