Short Term Missions Program: Step 2

Global Outreach--The Program

The World Missions program of Neighborhood Church is three-fold in its emphasis:

1. World Serve Ministries WorldServe is our strategic partner in helping us reach "closed countries" like China, Vietnam, Cuba, Nepal and others with the gospel through Bible distribution, evangelism, discipleship, church planting and pastoral support. (WorldServe.org)
   
   
2. The Christian & Missionary Alliance The Christian & Missionary Alliance is our strategic partner in helping us reach "open countries" like Africa, South America, India, Europe and other countries with the gospel. Through the Great Commission Fund we support over 800 missionaries. (CMalliance.org)
   
   
3. Neighborhood Missions Neighborhood Missions is our own short-term missions program designed to mobilize our membership for strategic missions work around the world. We partner with multiple "approved" missions agencies which include but are not limited to; WorldServe, C&MA, Operation Mobilization, P.E.S.I, Wings of Morning, Campus Crusade for Christ, Wycliffe, Teen Missions Int'l, Mission Frontiers, Delta Ministries International, Christian Associates International and YWAM.
   
   

Fact: Of the 24,000 different people groups in our world, 14,000 of those people groups have a gospel witness, 10,000 are yet to hear about Jesus.
