Short Term Missions Program: Step 1

Thank you for your interest in world missions!

Jesus emphasized the priority of missions with the Great Commission, "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you" (Matthew 28:19-20 NIV).

Fact: With over 6 billion people in the world, 4 billion (67%) are not yet saved. The good news: It's estimated that 70,000 people become Christians every day!

The apostle Paul underscored the priority of missions by stating, "The most important thing is that I complete my mission, the work that the Lord Jesus gave me to tell people the good news about God's grace" (Acts 20:24 NCV).

There are many ways to be involved in missions (i.e. pray, give, encourage missionaries with letters and emails) but this site is designed specifically for the person who desires to "get in" and "go" on a cross cultural missions trip with the support and blessing of Neighborhood Church.
