Mambo sawa sawa! I had the great honor of serving the Lord in another country for six weeks during this past summer. Pastor Mark Teyler and the Missions Board here at Neighborhood helped so much to make a way for me to go across the world. Along with a team of 26 people from my school, The Master's College, I had the amazing opportunity of going to Uganda, Africa.

This trip was nothing short of wonderful and at the same time... extremely stretching. The Lord taught me so many things including the importance of sharing the gospel and the security in belonging to Christ. Being in Africa forces one to focus on Christ above anything and everything else because there is literally nothing else to rely on. The Lord provided daily opportunities for my team and me to share the gospel with individuals and large groups alike. Many came to faith in Jesus Christ and countless more heard the message of salvation.

Thanks to all who helped to make it possible for me to make this trip and to those who so faithfully lifted Team Uganda up in prayer. Thanks above all to our faithful Savior, Jesus Christ, who is truly working in mighty ways in Africa and all around the world.

"I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. " -John 14:6
