About the Adventure

Adventure, the Children's Ministry at Neighborhood Church, exists to lead children and their families into a more dynamic relationship with God and each other. We are committed to connecting, changing, and reaching children and families for Christ, while continuing with the overall vision of Neighborhood Church to see life transformation through following Christ.

• Connecting We believe at Adventure that in order for children and their families to have a dynamic relationship with Jesus Christ, they first must feel connected to other believers. We believe that relationship building with one another is key. This includes the initial contact that a family has with our volunteers when they drop off their children on a Sunday morning, the relationship between the child and the volunteers, as well as the relationships with one another.
  
  
• Changing It is our goal that lives are transformed through the power of our Lord in our ministry. This begins with the initial commitments that the children make in their personal relationship to Jesus Christ and then the on-going growth and development of their faith.
  
  
• Reaching Through the children's life transformation, it is our goal that we are able to equip our children to reach out and impact their families, school, and neighborhoods. This also includes a safe, fun, loving environment that children will want to bring their friends to.
